Archiving is a key addition to the Pongrass Version 6 Editorial system.
Fast Search
You can search on publication, edition, date run, key word, author etc. Full indexed text search is available on editorial content.
Automatic Archiving
After an edition has been paginated and marked for archiving, export to the archive database is scheduled. Pictures, text and other story elements are exported, and registered in the archive. PDF pages are registered and linked to archived page elements. The full text index is generated as part of the archiving process.
Picture Archive
All pictures associated with a story are stored along with crop data from the Pongrass Editorial System. Picture browsing is quick and efficient using jpeg previews from the archive. Pictures can be found via story links or searches on IPTC data.
