Our History

Pongrass Publishing Systems was founded in 1984 by Leslie Pongrass and John Armstrong. We changed the newspaper industry by introducing desktop PCs. Our journey started with a terminal emulator for DEC Classified and grew into classified ad pagination software for Macintosh. Our advertising suite has evolved with technology, now featuring Version 6, a browser-based solution.

Product Strategy

Since the beginning, we have led in software solutions for newspapers, shoppers, directories, and magazines. We have expanded to South East Asia, Latin America, the USA, and Europe. Version 6 offers cloud-based, browser access with enterprise-level services.
